About

I am an attorney admitted to the Ankara Bar Association. I hold an LL.B. from Bilkent University Faculty of Law and I am completing an LL.M. in American and Transnational Law at the University of Dayton School of Law.

My practice runs along two connected lines: cross-border work with U.S.-based law firms and companies, and litigation and advisory work in Türkiye in dispute resolution, commercial law and contracts. The two inform each other, because every matter requires an early judgment about which legal system, which procedure and which evidence will be decisive.

Cross-border work

With U.S.-based law firms and companies I have worked on the preparation of application and evidence packages in immigration procedures, responses to requests for evidence and adverse decisions, the follow-up of administrative proceedings and the preparation of federal court filings. Turning the whole filing — facts, documents and legal argument — into a consistent and auditable narrative has been the core of this work.

I have advised more than 1,500 clients on U.S. immigration procedures, eligibility requirements and documentation, and I helped establish the Ankara operations of a U.S.-focused practice, including workflow design and quality control. In these matters I acted as an attorney admitted in Türkiye, advising where U.S. procedure and Turkish law meet.

Disputes and litigation

I have represented clients in contract and commercial disputes, enforcement and debt recovery, employment disputes, compensation claims, and criminal and family law matters. I have also worked on FIDIC and defence contracts, corporate documentation, licensing, data protection, intellectual property and domain-name disputes, as well as international arbitration involving public entities.

How I work

In every matter I first establish the legal position and the client’s objective, and then set out the route, the timetable and the risks in concrete terms. Regular updates, written assessments and predictable communication are part of the service.
